He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Paula Knight (Boyd) of Truxno, LA; his grandson Bryan Herring (Connie) of Spearsville, LA; his great grandchildren, Hunter and Henley Herring; his stepdaughter Patricia Nickerson (Jimmie) of Sarepta, LA; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lissa, Dixie, Harper and Emery; and his sisters, Patsy Slack (Robert) of Dubach, LA and Joyce Herring of Arcadia, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family, friends, and his VFW family and friends.
