It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Vowell of Sarepta, Louisiana, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pernell Dewey and Mary Carr Vowell; his wife Leona Hampton Vowell; his son Ronnie Vowell of Sarepta, LA; his granddaughters, Lindsey Vowell, Amanda Vowell, Halie Vaughn and Destiny Edwards; his great grandchildren, Chesney Payne, Austin Kennedy, Lakyn Kennedy, Dallas Winchester McAdams, Brenton Poe, Gracie Vaughn, Maverick Junior Grunenburg and Aryan Grunenburg; and his siblings, Dewey Ray Vowell, Sr., Charles Vowell, Huey Vowell and Dorothy Rangel.
