Donna Lynn Aldridge Powell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Lynn Aldridge Powell of Sarepta, Louisiana, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel D. Aldridge and Donna Ashley Aldridge; her son Kevin Powell; her grandson Cody Taylor; and the father of her children Joe Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Tawnya Powell Souter of Shongaloo, LA, Robin Powell Wynne (Jeremie) of Taylor, AR, Crystal Powell Lewis (Jason) of Shongaloo, LA and Matthew Aaron Powell (Amy) of Sarepta, LA; her siblings, Michael Aldridge (Pat) of Pasco, WA and Karen Blackmon of Waldo, AR; and her friends, Elissa Crane and Jeanette Norment. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Sarepta Cemetery (153 Old Sarepta Church Rd, Sarepta, LA 71071).
