It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine P Colie of Sarepta, Louisiana, born in Camden, Arkansas, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor C. Pennington and Helen Catherine Walker Pennington; her son David Thompson; her grandson Dalton Thompson; and her siblings, Harry, Johnny, Harlan Pennington, Lucille David, Dorothy Pennington, Ruth Marter and Lorraine Dorris.
She is survived by: her husband Wallace R. Coile; her sons, Alton Thompson of Highlands, TX and Roy Thompson (Diane) of Magnolia, TX.; her grandchildren, Stormi, Hali Thompson and Josh Thompson (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Spencer, Brody, Daisy and Carter; and her siblings, Juanita Schwartz (Topsy) and David Pennington (Hilda). She is also survived by seven step-sons, two step-daughters, and her sister-in-law.
