He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Franklin Cheatwood and Gracie Lee Cheatwood (Phillips); and his siblings, Nellie, Ellie, Bobbie, Christene, William, Willie, Syble, Barbara and Frankie.
He is survived by: his daughter Dianne; his wife Dianne Cheatwood (Guin); his children, Teresa Cheatwood Watson, Jeff Cheatwood (Sheryl), Tammy Cheatwood Barrett (Mike), Chris Ward (Xhochotti), Mark Ward (Melissa) and Jerri Diane Nall (Wesley); and his sister Aline Cheatwood Tyler. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; two special nieces; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
They raised many thousands of dollars which they donated to the hospital.
