She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Magnolia Goss (Beatty) and Boyd Clinnie Goss; her siblings, Christine Balance (Goss), Joyce Chandler (Goss) and Boyd Goss; her brother-in-law Jimmy Smith; and her great grandchild Chandler Wise.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Loyd Smith, Sr.; her children, Joseph Loyd Smith, Jr., James Smith (Susanna), Lamark "Mark" Smith (Fanci) and Kayla Paul (Smith); her grandchildren, Joel Smith, Ashley, Bettyanne Smith, Robin Cravens, Dylan, Bill Smith, Malorie, Brandon Smith, Miranda, Justin Smith, Amanda, Ben Smith, Jennifer, Josh Smith, Jody Wise, Katelyn, Kellyann Allen and Casey; her siblings, Noverine Lowe (Goss) and Thomas Goss (Susan); and her close friend Lola. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.
