He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilse Jefferson and Daisy Jefferson (Griffin); his wife Gustavia Jefferson; his children, Leslie Jefferson, Jr. and Donna Washington; and his granddaughter McKenzie Washington.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Jefferson and Darrel Jefferson (Patrice); and his son-in-law Malcolm Washington. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
