She was predeceased by: her parents, Shaffer Thibodeaux and Orelia Bonhomme Thibodeaux; her husband Morris James, Jr.; her close friend Burnett James; her grandson Tyler Devin James; and her siblings, Whitney Thibodeaux, Carlton Thibodeaux, Sr., Furdy Thibodeaux and Roberta Berry.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeannine James; her grandchildren, Brooke LeBlanc Sarver (Brian) and Christian James; her great grandchild Ava Grave Sarver; her siblings, Joseph Steve Thibodeaux, Rose Daniels, Patty Harris, Josephine Thibodeaux, Rose Mary Williams and Martha Bonhomme; and her friend Rita Folse Girouard.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (201 Gary St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
