It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly Michelle Batiste of Saint Martinville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Rufus Batiste; her stepfather Joseph Darrell Darbigny; her grandparents, Rufus, Atrice Batiste, Sr., Joseph, Merline Orphe, Sr. and Mary Atrice Leon; her niece Kennedy Gordon; and her nephew Justin Batiste, Jr..

She is survived by: her boyfriend Jermaine Porche; her mother Mary Prenella Darbigny; her children, Dandre Charles, Dominique Charles and Keondria Charles; her grandchildren, Bentley Green and Knox Stewart; and her siblings, Justin Batiste, Sr. and Shavonne Gordon.
