She is survived by: her sons, Murrell "Tommy" Smith, Jr. and John Edward Smith (Christine); her grandchildren, Brandy Wassmer (Peter), Candy Smith, Murrell "Trey" Smith, III (Dana), Jackie Smith, Mark Smith (Hemmy) and Matthew Smith (Angie); her brother Dr. Edward E. Jeffries (Brownie); and her caregiver Nateasha Jean-Louis. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
