She was predeceased by: her parents, Placide Belaire and Emma Landry Belaire; her grandmother Sue Ellen (Floyd Joseph); her husband Pierre Theriot; her son Floyd Joseph Theriot; and her siblings, Earline Degeyter, Oline Guidry, Elmae Picard, Sadia Guilbeau, Clevens Belaire, Loiston Belaire and Earles Belaire.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Theriot, Nan Laviolette and Sue E. Vincent (Ricky); her grandchildren, Lacey McCarthy (Richard), Ross Noel (Tara), Todd Noel (Gabby), Haley Vincent and Hannah Vincent; and her great grandchildren, Kynnedi Noel, Reagan Noel and Payden McCarthy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Iva also had been Pierre's caregiver for many, many years following his diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.
