She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Simon, Sr. and Edna Louviere Simon; her son Troy Williams; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Simon and Warren Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Leander "Cush" Williams, Sr.; her children, Leander Williams Jr. (Tricia), Shawn Williams and Deidre Williams; her siblings, Murphy Simon, Jr. (Marie), Leroy Simon and Regina Simon; her grandchildren, Kip Jacob (Hunny), Brandon Jacob, Bianca Jacob, Sierra Derouselle, Dion Williams, Travis Williams and Paige Williams; and her great grandchildren, Milani Jacob, Kataleya Jacob, Lance Gardner, Jr., Mason Williams, Kently James, Vaeda Derousselle, Gianna Mallery and Everest Shorten. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - St. Martinville (112 N New Market St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (201 Gary St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Queen of Peace Cemetery (716 N Main St, St Martinville, LA 70582).
