He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leed, Carmen Champagne, Thomas and Rose Menard; and his father-in-law Ellis Trosclair.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Trosclair Champagne; his children, Gabrielle Marie Champagne, Laike Jeanne Champagne, Kane Ellis Champagne and Clay Martin Champagne; his parents, Hobson Champagne and Joyce Menard Champagne; his sister Sandi Angelle (Mike); his nephew Gavin Sonnier; his godchild Carmen Angelle; and his mother-in-law Gertie Trosclair. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - St. Martinville (112 N New Market St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saint Martin de Tours Church (133 S Main St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the St. Michael Cemetery (101 Cemetery Rd, St Martinville, LA 70582).
