He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bennett Reed and Beatrice Degatur Reed; his brother John Reed; and his sister-in-law Donna Reed. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Reed; his sons, Buddy Reed and Joseph Reed (Leigh); his grandchildren, Hunter Reed and Madlyn Reed; and his brothers, Russell Reed (Norma), Patrick Reed and Benny Reed.
