He was predeceased by: his wife Jenny Courville; his parents, Alexon "Blanc" Courville and Clelie "Kin" Courvillle; his brother Roy Courville; and his sisters-in-law, Corrine Courville and Lillie Courville.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Courville (Scott), Travis Courville (Janice), Jason Courville (Tricia), Denise Courville (Cris) and Mindi Courville (Brad); his grandchildren, Tayga, Treylin, Tate (Mackenzie), Beau, Landon, Kamryn, Noah, Harlee and Brennon; his close friend Betty Hebert; his siblings, Larry Courville, Rogers Courville (Jeanette), Edrick Courville, Errol Courville (Pearl), Dwight Courville (Lucy), Debbie Landry (Roland) and Claybert Courville (Robin); and his sister-in-law Verline Courville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Dion Hall (4452 Catahoula Hwy, St Martinville, LA 70582). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (1006 St Rita Hwy, St Martinville, LA 70582). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery - St. Martinville (1039 Catahoula Park Rd, St Martinville, LA 70582).
