He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Mayeux; his parents, Gurvie Mayeux and Anna Mayeux; and his daughter-in-law Tracy Mayeux. He is survived by: his son Philip Mayeux of St. Landry; his siblings, Michael Mayeux (Sue) of Vick and Barbra Mayeux of Marksville; his grandchildren, Cade Jacob Mayeux of Bayou Chicot, Shelby Gautreaux of Bayou Chicot and Amy Mayeux (Steven Fontenot) of Turkey Creek; and his great grandchildren, Kara Gautreaux, Azlynn Gautreaux, Jarin Gautreaux and Sophia Mayeux.
