With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Dale Blood of Saint Landry, Louisiana, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Douget Blood; his parents, Earl Blood and Erna Carnahan Blood; his grandchildren, Trevor Vidrine and Lindsley Vidrine; and his siblings, Charles Willis Blood, Kenneth Wayne Blood, James Blood, Claudnell Blood and Elsie Mae Blood.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy B. Vidrine (Paul) of Lone Pine, Melissa B. Bernal (Phillip) of Bayou Chicot, Roger D. Blood, Jr. (Frances) of Turkey Creek and Joshua Blood (Logan) of Bunkie; his brothers, Nolan Blood of Monroe, Curtis Blood of Bayou Chicot and Ralph Blood of Lone Pine; and his grandchildren, Ashton Vidrine, Michaela Vidrine, Nathaniel Bernal, Veronica Loftus, Tiffany Normand, Elizabeth Blood, Emma Blood and Nick Blood. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
