He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Douget Blood; his parents, Earl Blood and Erna Carnahan Blood; his grandchildren, Trevor Vidrine and Lindsley Vidrine; and his siblings, Charles Willis Blood, Kenneth Wayne Blood, James Blood, Claudnell Blood and Elsie Mae Blood.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy B. Vidrine (Paul) of Lone Pine, Melissa B. Bernal (Phillip) of Bayou Chicot, Roger D. Blood, Jr. (Frances) of Turkey Creek and Joshua Blood (Logan) of Bunkie; his brothers, Nolan Blood of Monroe, Curtis Blood of Bayou Chicot and Ralph Blood of Lone Pine; and his grandchildren, Ashton Vidrine, Michaela Vidrine, Nathaniel Bernal, Veronica Loftus, Tiffany Normand, Elizabeth Blood, Emma Blood and Nick Blood. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
