She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Linus Smith; her parents, Emery Sonnier and Louise Bourque Sonnier; and her siblings, Margaret Elaine, Rose Marie Sonnier, Lisa Ann Sonnier Bourque, Emery Sonnier, Jr., James Carol "Jimmy" Sonnier and Joseph Valerie "JoJo" Sonnier.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Gauthier (Jody) of Youngsville, LA, Michelle Smith (Lance Gautreaux) of Sunset, LA, Troy Smith (Karen) of Church Point, Kirt Smith (Lisa) of Arnaudville, LA and Buddy Smith (Pam); and her brother John Gregory Sonnier of Sunset. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
