James Tubre Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 68, James Tubre of Saint Landry, Louisiana, born in Bunkie, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Tubre to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, P. H. Tubre and Willie Lee Harrell Tubre; and his sister Norma Jean Tubre Desselle. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thoms Tubre; his son David Tubre (Trixy Peart); his stepsons, Russell and Michael White; his sisters, Harriet Woollett (Matt) and Patsy Rizer (Berlyn); his grandchildren, Kylie, Cain and Luke; and his stepgrandchildren, Bret, Olivia, Hannah and Anthony.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A rosary was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Mission Church (1127 St Landry Hwy, St Landry, LA 71367). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Vandenburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
