He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bourgeois and Evelyn Thibodeaux Bourgeois; his former wife Anna Belle Latiolais Bourgeois; his children, Charles Keith Bourgeois and Andrea Tina Miller; his grandsons, Derrick and Gary Richard; and his great grandchild Axel Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Richard Bourgeois of Lewisburg; his daughter Carla Richard (Bobby) of Lewisburg; his sisters, Judy Johnson of Eunice, LA and Betty Hernandez (Gene Allan) of Baton Rouge, LA; and his children-in-law, Dale Miller and Angela Bourgeois. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
