It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Lemelle of Saint Landry, Louisiana, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elizabeth, Virginia, Zoia, Josie, Ida and Zackarie.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile Chavis; his children, Mellanie, Chad (Fran) of Eunice, LA, Clifton Jr. (Myesha) of Baton Rouge, LA, Donna (Vincent) and Johnny of Opelousas, LA.; his sister Adeline Evans; and his sister-in-law Lois Parker of New Orleans. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
