He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Richard and Mary Lou Richard; and his sisters, Jeanette Boudreaux and Dianne Miller. He is survived by: his wife Norma Miller Richard; his children, Cindy Leger (Jeff Taylor), Cathy Carlisle (Chad), Pam Bearb (Terry) and Randy Richard (Christine); and his grandchildren, Kimberly Malveaux, Tamara Richard, Tiffany Montecino, Carl "Mex" Montecino III, Derek, Brooke Leger, Zachary, Bryce Carlisle, Heather Zimmer of Terry, Bearb and Lindsey Theriot. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
