We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 79, Robert James Sandoz of Saint Joseph, Louisiana, born in New Iberia, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Joseph Sandoz and Marie Richard Sandoz; his mother-in-law Hazel Green DeWitt; his brother Charles Harold Sandoz; his brother-in-law Keith Eldridge; and his grandson Clint Robert Justilien.
He is survived by: his wife Edith DeWitt Sandoz of St. Joseph; his children, Stacey Justilien (Joey) of New Iberia and Stuart Sandoz of New Iberia; his grandson Chase Justilien of Baton Rouge; his children, James Clifton Wilkerson of Llano and Margaret Wilkerson (Jeff) of St. Joseph; and his sisters, Elaine Beinvenu (Ray) of New Iberia, Jae Sturtevant (James) of McKinney and Dalie Berard (David) of New Iberia.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Newellton Union Church (1916 LA-605, Newellton, LA 71357).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Newellton Union Church, P.O. Box 265, Newellton, Louisiana 71357.
