He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Arceneaux, and James Arceneaux, Sr.; his wife Carolyn Smith Arceneaux; and his father-in-law Marvin Smith. He is survived by: his children, Becca Weeks (William) of Vicksburg, Michael Arceneaux (Lindsey) of St. Joseph and Dr. Emma Lensing (Gabe) of Oxford, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Laney Weeks, Allie Weeks, James Lensing, Emmy Weeks, Claire Lensing, Connor Arceneaux and Kate Lensing; his siblings, Billy Joe Arceneaux (Pat) of St. Joseph, Louisiana and Denise Head (Daryl) of St. Joseph, Louisiana; and his mother-in-law Anita Walker Smith of Waterproof, Louisiana.
