He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Octave and Alverine Octave (Pierre); his sister Mildred; and his brother-in-law Joseph Whittington Sr. Willis. He is survived by: his wife Regina Octave (Oubre); his children, Wendell Kimball Octave, Karisue Nelson (Ricky), Willis (Billy), Lansing Octave (Michelle) and Shannon Octave (Shantel); and his brother Arthur Octave (Delores). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
