She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Jessie Mae Williams Smith; and her siblings, Stafford, Sr., Ernest, Jr., Eddie, Earl Smith, Phyllis Johnson, Edna Smith, Eurella Paul and Amelia Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, James Joseph, Jr. (Catina) and Lavell Joseph (Michelle); her siblings, Larry (Mary), Stephen, Sherman (Gwen), Nolan (Mary), Gail Sylve and Faye Chopin (Floyd); her grandchildren, Brandon Bolton, Alexus Joseph, James Joseph, III and Jaratio Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Bolton and Kaiden Joseph. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 8:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the King Soloman Baptist Church (2385 N Courseault St, Lutcher, LA 70071).
