He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Mayho Mitchell; his children, Andrea Thomas (Durell), Shamica Mitchell and Roy Mitchell, Jr. (Veronica); his stepson Derrick Bell (Yvette); and his siblings, Marie Lewis, Louise Taylor, Leo, Paul and Peter Mitchel. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
