She was predeceased by: her husband Prentice Bolin, Jr.; her sons, Prentice James Bolin and Robert Lewis Bolin; her parents, Joseph Francis and Helena Cahill Coerver; her siblings, Thomas, John, Michael Coerver, Margaret Jolly, Mary Catherine McAfee and Rose Mary Coerver; and her nephew Michael Coerver.

She is survived by: her children, John Michael Bolin of Phoenix, Helen L. Bolin and Beth B. Miller of Baton Rouge; her grandson Patrick Miller of Baton Rouge; her great grandchild Helen Miller Owen; her grandson Austin Owen (Husband) of Austin; her brother James F. Coerver; her sister-in-law Robin Robb Coerver of Baton Rouge; her godchildren, Jerry Jolly and Catherine Choppin; and her pet McDuff. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ginnie requested that memorials be made to St. Joseph's Cathedral, Burden Botanical Gardens, or St. Joseph's Academy.
