It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Matherne of Saint James, Louisiana, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Matherne; and his mother-in-law Australia Miles. He is survived by: his wife Constance Miles Matherne; his father Fred Matherne; his daughter Angelica Lee; his stepchildren, Laquanta Babin and Glynn Williams (Sagan); his siblings, Jeff Matherne (Dawn) and Kerry Matherne (Wendy); and his stepgrandchildren, Kayden Davis, Rylie Babin, Demi Johnson, Kori Williams, Khai Allen and Kani Williams.
