Aubert; and her siblings-in-law, Edgar Aubert Sr. (Celestine), Herbert Aubert (Leola), Howard Aubert, Emile Brown (Doris) and Marie Aubert.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Jane Aubert; her grandsons, Chaz Nailor (Ja'Rae Lewis) and Chaney Nailor; her great grandchild Karlei Nailor (Snooch); her stepdaughters, Madeline Gex, Gail Aubert Langston (Calvin) and Melinda Anderson; her siblings, Mable Hill (Leroy), Mary Simmons (Carl), Kathleen Frazier, SueWon Narcisse (Hilton) and Henry Mitchell (Laura); her siblings-in-law, Edward Scioneaux, Willie Honore' (Gwen), Herman Aubert (Florean) and Ramona Mitchell; her godchildren, Alfred Mitchell, Tonita Washington, SueWon Narcisse, Ryan Mitchell and Tondra White; and her friends, Caldonia Ceasar, Marian Bailey, Ollie Dennis and Marguerite Taylor. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church (8969 LA-18, St James, LA 70086). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the St James Catholic Church (6613 LA-18, St James, LA 70086).
