He is survived by: his wife Thelma Singleton Nelson; his sons, Donald Nelson, Jr. (Tamika) and Rydell Singleton (Damacia); his siblings, Sandra Lewis (Thomas), Malinda Nelson, Clettia Wells, Melanie Keller (Armand), Qutesia Sensley (Willie), Leroy Frazier and Anthony Nelson; his siblings-in-law, Barbara, Joyce, Shelia Singleton, Mary Little (Louis), Elizabeth Nelson, Willie, William and Vernell Singleton; his brothers, Lionel Nelson, Jr. and Lawrence Nelson (Lynette); and his parents-in-law, Willie and Shirley Singleton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
