He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Chiquet of St. James, LA and Mildred Landry Chiquet of Paincourtville, LA; his wife Elsie "Nu" Chiquet of Donaldsonville, LA; and his brother Fredrick "Freddie" Chiquet (Cheryl). He is survived by: his children, Jon Chiquet (Crystal), Rachel Nash and Tracie Chiquet (Marissa Badenhorst); his grandchildren, Brianna Potter, Blake, Blair Chiquet, Haley and Connor Nash; his siblings, Patricia Coleman (late Othel), Paul Chiquet (Dolores) and Linda Byrd (late Robert); his close friend Cathy Roddy; his grandchildren, Rome Weiser and Sutton Roddy; and also, Ashley Weiser (Joe) and Mike Roddy (Kelee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to his favorite charities of Children's Hospital of New Orleans, American Heart Society, St. Jude's Hospital, and No One Fights Alone-New Orleans.
