He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Gardner and Martha Jackson Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Alma Jupiter Gardner; his children, Renee Jupiter and Brian Jupiter (Terineka); his sisters, Audrey and Louisa Gardner; his siblings-in-law, Elvie Jupiter and Joseph Jupiter, III; and his siblings, Martha, Ethel, Glenda, Gloria Gardner, Lynn and Peter Gardner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
