Chapman Sr. (Saint Gabriel, Louisiana), born in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, who passed away on November 9, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Chapman and Mae Chapman; his brother Pete Chapman; and his brothers-in-law, Ben Hille and Ray Saujon.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Chapman; his sons, Richard "Rik" Chapman Jr. and James "Jerry" Chapman; his grandchildren, Colby, Collin, Caleb, Cayne and Brady Chapman; and his siblings, Joanie Saujon, Ethel Pepperdene, Pat Hillie and Tommy Chapman. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
