She is survived by: her daughter Kehinnde Rose Evans; her son-in-law Courtney Evans; her sisters, Brunetta Walker, Patricia Gilbert and Angelina Gilbert; her sister-in-law Patsy Rose; her grandchildren, Lance Long (Tatiana Long), Sheldon Ballom (Taylor Ballom), Zhané Long, Nioni Rose, Alona of Washington, Kourtney Evans and Colby Evans; her great grandchildren, Leah Long, Lance Long, Jr. and Riley Ballom; her cousin Lynn Burthlong; and her friends, Coletha Redditt, Thelma Frazier and Keisha Smith. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was a native of New Orleans, LA, where she worked at Charity Hospital for over 20 years.
