It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Franks Leake of Saint Francisville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Robert Dean Franks and Catherine Franks Hudson. She is survived by: her husband James Rucker Leake, Jr.; her children, Catherine Loyd Leake of St. Francisville, Jennifer Leake Tillman (Brian) of Shreveport, LA and James Rucker Leake III (Stacie Davis) of St. Francisville; her brothers, Robert Dean Franks Jr. (Vicki) of Shreveport, LA and Allen Cameron Franks (Cathy) of High Top, AL; and her grandchildren, Anne Hardel Leake, James Rucker Leake IV, Davis Massie Tillman, Loyd Ralph Tillman and Cecelia Eloise Tillman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (11621 Ferdinand St, St Francisville, LA 70775). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
