With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Pettigrew Schell of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 6, 2021 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her son Steven K. Schell (Diane); her parents, Herbert Pettigrew Jr. and Elise Keith Pettigrew; her brother Herbert Pettigrew III (Rosemary); and her granddaughter Kelli Schell.

She is survived by: her son Anthony J. Schell Jr. (Tammy); her siblings, Bill Pettigrew, George Pettigrew (Susan), Pat Pettigrew (Elizabeth) and Cathy Ripps (Craig); her grandchildren, Chad Schell (Erin), Amy Wilson, Paul Hammers, Gabriel Schell and Gabby Eschette; her great grandchildren, Jamy Wilson, Willow Wilson, John Wilson Jr., Hannah Tyrney, Levi Lee, Logan Schell and Olivia Schell; and her adoptive daughter Jamie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
