He is survived by: his wife Carole Chastant Byrd; his children, Dayna Fitzgerald (Mark), Robert Byrd (Sandie), Sherri Lopez (Big Scottie) and Scott Byrd (Fannie); his grandchildren, Travis Fitzgerald, Lenny Evans, Scott Lopez, Shannon Lopez Geraci, Marissa Ruiz, Meghan Ruiz, Zackary Byrd, Antoinette Byrd (Nina) and Richard Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Tori, Shelbi Alphonso, Brody, Brees Geraci, Scotlyn, Lane Lopez and Menah Powell.
