He was predeceased by: his son Christopher J. Carderara; and his parents, Janie Recatto Carderara and Chris Carderara. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gauthreaux Carderara; his sons, Matthew J. Carderara, Jr. and Phillip T. Carderara (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel), Kristy (John), Brittanie, Matthew III (Britney), Cameron, Evan, Landon and Aiden; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Aleah, Jaxson and Dexter; and his sister Josephine Carderara.
