She was predeceased by: her father Dempsey Kinchen; and her brothers, Jerry Kinchen, Joey Kinchen, Derald Kinchen and Percy Vicknair.

She is survived by: her husband Hilton J. Reed, Sr.; her children, Hilton J. "Joe" Reed, Jr. (Barb), Jennifer "Jennie" Reed Heneghan (Jody) and Jon Reed (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Lauryn Heneghan, Hannah Heneghan, Bethany Heneghan, Faith Heneghan and Alexa Reed; her siblings, Nancy Castello, Sarah Pernice, Dorothy Labat (Roy), Linda Bailey, Brenda Jones (Bruce), Karen Heath (Michael), Carol Hoover Rogers, Leroy Kinchen and Leonard "Lenny" Nicholas; and her mother Doris Hoover Nicholas. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
