He is survived by: his wife Catherine Estopinal Stechmann; his sons, Karl Stechmann Jr. (Gina Jo), Todd Stechmann (Danielle) and Chad Stechmann (Ashlee); his siblings, Tana Guerica and Katherine Landry; his grandchildren, Arianne Stechmann, Samantha Jo Cortes, Krystalyn Cheramie, Karl Stechmann III, Sophie Stechmann, Todd Stechmann Jr., Chad Stechmann Jr., Drake Stechmann and Laine Stechmann; and his great grandchildren, Kason, Karleigh, Nevaeh, Bella, Gianna and Melina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
