He is survived by: his wife Janet Chatelain Burkardt; his children, Cathy Runnels, Stacy Burkardt (Norman Jacob), Bradly Burkardt and Brittany Licciardi Livaccari (Tim); his grandchildren, Samantha Runnels, Austin Runnels (Kaylyn), Miranda Runnels, Alexis Baxter (Branson), Sabrina Kelly (Jamare Jackson), Veronica Livaccari, Abigail Livaccari and Poe Livaccari; his great grandchildren, Cylas, Sebastian, Landry and Baxter; his siblings, Henrietta Catalano and David Burkardt; and his sisters-in-law, Corrine Caruso and Judi Chatelain. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
