It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Alfonso of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Alphonso, III and Marie Kelty. He is survived by: his wife Helen Morales Alfonso; his children, Joseph W. Alfonso, III, Pasqual Alfonso (Bertha) and Carla Powell (Kristopher); his siblings, Robert, Esther, Betty, Alice, John Alphonso (late Louise) and Eugene "Toby" Alphonso, Sr. (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristen, Taylor, Dawn, Megan, Joe, Celeste and Melissa. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
