He was predeceased by: his son John Mook; his son-in-law Ralph Harris; and his sister Sherry McDuffy (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Elenora Mook; his daughter Cynthia Madden (David); his stepchildren, Van Robin (Lisa), Robin Harris and Crystal Thurman (Billy); and his siblings, Clarence Mook (Suzie), Sheila Rice and Beverly Brackin. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his family friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
