With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Rita Alfonso of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Alfonso, Jr.; her parents, Pasqual Morales and Jeanne Robin; her son Joseph W. Alfonso III; and her sister Dorothy Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Pasqual Alfonso (Bertha) and Carla Powell; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristen, Taylor, Dawn, Megan, Joe, Celeste and Melissa; and her extended family, Priest and Parishioners. She is also survived by her family and friends.
