He is survived by: his girlfriend Velma Mackles; his son Gerard Patterson, Jr. (Michelle); his stepchildren, Lillian Goetz Trahan (Pat), Gwen Mackles (Lou), Perrish Mackles, Sr. (Tracey) and Shane L. Mackles, Sr. (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Brittney, Katelyn, Lil Shane, Nathan, Megan, Perrish, Jr., Lindsey, George, Noah, Matthew, Jacob, Luke, Michael, Cody, Ronnie and Amanda. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
