She was predeceased by: her husband George Anthony Duvic; her child Kim Duvic; her parents, Clementine Boudreaux Melancon and Emile Melancon; and her siblings, Aline Rodriguez, Edgar Melancon and Alfred "A. J." Melancon.
She is survived by: her children, Kerry Williams (John) and Tammy Duvic; her brother Leroy Melancon; her grandchildren, Mindy Scheeler (Alfred), Fallon Williams, Ashley Williams, Tia Justice (Jeremy) and Matthew Williams (April); and her great grandchildren, Noah Scheeler, Peyton Scheeler, Mason Williams and Makinley Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
