She is survived by: her children, Murphy Assavedo (Barbara), Julie Landry (Decker), Lydia Crank (Kenneth), Karen Assavedo, Gladys LaBorde (Johnny), Ethel Jeansonne (late Chris), Nathan Assavedo, Marian Russell (Bentley) and Ellie Assavedo (Johnny); and her sisters, Dr. Jacqueline Lewis and Audrey Arceneaux. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 extended great-grandchildren.
