He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sr. Scott and Ruby Verret Scott; his sister Inez Dison; and his wife Yvonne Scott. He is survived by: his brother Michael Scott; and his aunt Myrtle Williams.
Butch also attended Bethlehem Baptist Church, Dalcour, LA and later joined 3rd Missionary Baptist, where he served as an usher until his illness and the pandemic kept him away.
