She was predeceased by: her husband Cedric Luke Sierra; her parents, Salvadore Volpe and Anna Culotta Volpe; and her siblings, Paul, Vitale, Salvador, Theresa "Sis" Corne and Joseph.

She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Kelley Golla (Robert), Carol Newman (Jimmie), Sundra Cruthirds (Wayne) and Keith Sierra, Sr. (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Christie Kelley, Michael Kelley (Janie), Letitia Newman Grayson (Larry), Leah Newman Vinsanau (Michael), David Newman (Bridget), Wayne Cruthirds, Sarah Cruthirds, Jessica Sierra and Keith Sierra (Meghan); and her caregivers, Martina, Amanda, Shemeke, Lynette, Shiela and Lauren. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and countless honorary nieces and nephews.
